RP Guide!There is no right way to roleplay, although a little help along the way canât hurt a new player!Here are some tips, common slip ups, and suggestions for building your roleplay character.
A strong lore foundation.Now you donât have to read the entire Wow Wiki, but before choosing a zone for your OC to descend from, I suggest reading the wiki page on it if you donât wish to play through the zone. This will help to familiarize you with the locations. This zone is only a few years old in lore - so no adult character could have come from it. I would instead explore Ashenvale, Felwood (once Ashenvale), Feralas, Winterspring, Azshara, or Darkshore as alternatives for your OC to hail from.The Age of a KaldoreiâŚ
Kaldorei tend to mature long into their first few centuries before they are seen as full adults, which is a huge difference when you compare them to the human maturation of eighteen years. No eighteen year old Kaldorei would be seen socially as an adult, so I would suggest aiming for ages between 110 to 320 if you wish to play a young adult Kaldorei, and 300 for a Kaldorei capable of entering combat and living as an adult.This is especially important because we will not be having child soldiers. Due to triggers around watching children being physically harmed or otherwise injured, a global struggle for many to this day IRL, we will not be actively writing such things for the comfort of players. While you are welcome to make a child character, we ask you to remember their age at all times as well as to RP both appropriately and accordingly.Food!
